(1) If the food inspector suspects that a food item is contaminated or of low quality, after taking a sample of such food item in accordance with this regulation, if the food inspector sees that the food item should be stopped from being sold, distributed, or embezzled, the entire stock of that item or a part of that item, as long as he is suspected, shall be raided in accordance with Rule 8. can keep it in his charge and the compensation of the food items taken in this way should be given to the concerned person in the format specified in schedule-7.
(2) If it is found that it is not necessary or not possible to take charge of such foodstuff according to sub-rule (1), the owner of such foodstuff shall be given an order as per Schedule-8 by making a document to keep the tampered foodstuff safely.
